Hello fellow taffers, First of all, excuse me for posting a topic in English. I am from the TTLG Community and I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that I'm hoping that a new version of the multilpayer mod will ever exist. The main reason for this is that the multiplayer mod is still running on the old version of Thief, instead of NewDark. Tos, the creator of the multiplayer mod, has released the source code, and it appears that he is no longer working on it. Since Newdark was made by Le Corbeau from this forum, I thought it couldn't hurt to ask him personally. So basically, Le Corbeau, if you're reading this, can you tell me, us, if you're interested in giving it a look? Perhaps someone else who has experience in this kind of coding could have a look at it? Thank you in advance! |

Thank you, will do! Edit: Oh, I may have been wrong there, Le Corbeau was only the bringer of the good news, he wasn't one of the creators of the patch. Do we know yet who is? Edit 2: Checked the whole release topic of Newdark again. Can we safely assume he is one of the creators? I will try to PM him anyway. |

Unfortunately I never got a response from that PM I send him a year ago. I (and many others) would love to see a multiplayer patch for NewDark! I already appreciate the things he/they do for us, but if there is something I'd like to ask for it would be that  The code for MP Old Dark was actually uploaded on GitHub by the creator about a year ago: https://github.com/ncblakely/thiefmp |
